WINTER GATHERING 2024
Join us for the Whipping Willow Association’s Winter Gathering. Masters and students from all over the world meet to once again draw from the well of tradition, healing, and wisdom in a 3-day event. The first day is always focused on healing, followed by the next day’s combative study, and concluded with the third day, centered on basics as taught by our Grandmasters.

FRIDAY NIGHT – LA QUINTA INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM BUENA PARK:

SATURDAY – ALFEROS HALE:
• Door Opens: 7:00 AM
• Event Starts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
◦ Saturday workshops will be taught at Sijo Alferos’ home, utilizing his personal
training equipment and area. You will experience several teachers sharing their
knowledge in various martial arts styles and systems.
◦ Please bring training knives, safety glasses, and sticks.
Special Ohana Night
Ohana Dinner – Panda Inn La Palma (2 Centerpointe Dr. La Palma)
Saturday night is our family reunion. A time where we all gather together as ohana (family). We invite our family, friends, past and new attendees to join us for dinner and stay for the kanikapila.
Kanikapila (Jam session/hangout) – La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Buena Park
After dinner, you are invited to join us for a relaxed evening. Bring your favorite dessert, snack or beverages to share. Kick back, enjoy the music and share stories. Feel free to bring your ukulele or guitar and join in the jam session.
